GO Cincinnati was an amazing success! 3,000 of us spread out all over the Tristate area to blitz our city with love. Although May 19 was an incredible day, it was just a toe-in-the-water experience for most of us. We went broad, but to change our city, we also need to go deep.

If you’re ready to continue to serve and build relationships with people in need in our city, e-mail us at gocincinnati@crossroadscommunity.net or ask for a GO Cincinnati Next Steps card at the Info Center on the weekend. Here are just a few ways you can get involved:

Diner
Prepare or serve dinner to people in need at City Gospel Mission in Over-the-Rhine on the third, fourth or fifth Friday of each month, and/ or prepare or serve breakfast on the fifth Saturday of the month.

Habitat for Humanity
Pick up a hammer or a paint brush and help build homes and relationships with low-income families on Saturdays. No prior construction experience is necessary.

The Outlet
Mentor residents at River City Correctional Facility desiring to make a positive transition into their community through affirming personal relationships.

StepUp Prison Mentoring
Here’s a small sampling of some of the organizations that we will be assisting on May 19th.

TeamWorks Job Mentoring
Mentor individuals in Cincinnati Works employment programs to help sustain momentum toward financial self-sufficiency and encourage emotional and spiritual maturity.
